This online training is made up of two 2¼ hour sessions with a 15-minute break. This training will be on Wednesday(s) 28 September & 5 October 2022 from 09:30 to 11:45 each day
Boundaries, Contracting and Containment
This course is for those working with services users or clients who may be survivors of trauma.
Aim
To explore the participants understanding of boundaries, contracting and containment and how they can support them in their work.

To highlight the effect of trauma and adverse childhood experiences on boundaries

To highlight and reflect on the role of contracting and containment in supporting effective relationships.

To explore the potential challenges to boundaries in providing support to traumatised individuals

Trainer
Jean Budge is Health in Mind's Trauma and Development Lead. She is a very experienced psychotherapist and supervisor of counselling and support services. She led Health in Mind’s Trauma Support services for many years and designed and delivered a range of levels of training that ensure our practice stays trauma informed and adheres to good practice.

Training bookings are processed through Stripe which accepts all major debit and credit cards.
If you need to cancel your booking and give more than 30 days’ notice, we will refund 50% of your fee. There is a non-refundable administration fee of £5 for cancellations and refunds. If due to unforeseen circumstances we have to change the course date, and it is not suitable for you, we will refund 100% of the payment.
