Clare Haughey MSP, Minister for Mental Health visits our Men's SHARE project in Midlothian (August 2018)

Clare Haughey MSP, Minister for Mental Health visited our Men's SHARE project in Midlothian last week to launch Scotland's Suicide Prevention Action Plan.

The plan has a target to reduce suicide rates in Scotland by 20% by 2022.

The Men's SHARE (Suicide, Harm, Awareness and Empathy) project in Midlothian provides an accessible space which offers men social and emotional support.

The project focuses on prevention and intervention, providing support to promote resilience strategies and recovery pathways. It also offers an opportunity to engage in activities that promote a sense of purpose and belonging.
