Sponsor a befriender

Join our Health in Mind community and sponsor a befriender.

1 in 10 people in Scotland report feeling lonely often*

Our befriending service supports people who are experiencing isolation and loneliness. They are matched with a connecting or peer volunteer who supports them to explore and connect with their local community and build their confidence. Our befriending, connecting and peer services are needed now, more than ever.

As little as £4 a month could support a volunteer like Andrew to help end loneliness in your community.

How can I sponsor a befriender? It just takes two steps...

  1. Choose from three donation options, £4, £7 or £10

  2. Click here to sign up and start giving through CAF

When you sponsor a befriender, you will:

  • Be part of our Health in Mind Community and be invited to our Health in Mind hero meet ups
  • Be sent regular befriender updates
  • Get that warm, fuzzy feeling knowing you’re making a huge difference to someone’s life

Join our Health in Mind Community and sponsor a befriender today.
