Team Leader Lothian Deaf Counselling Service

Salary:  £28,856 per annum (pro-rata) (Pt 32 fixed)
Hours: 18 hours per week
Location: Shandwick Place 
Contract: Until March 22 (possible extension dependent on further funding)

Health in Mind’s Lothian Deaf Counselling Service are looking to recruit a Team Leader to conduct in person, telephone or video counselling to people who are hard of hearing.

The post will provide counselling to people living across Lothian, and provides a valuable support to those experiencing other barriers such as isolation and disability

Counselling will be provided to self-referring individuals, or those signposted other third sector organisations, or NHS services.  The role will include raising awareness of the service to relevant organisations.

The successful candidate will provide therapeutic support on a one to one basis, in adherence with the BACP ethical framework.
