Covid-19 Risk Assessment

We have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and shared the results with our staff.

We are pleased to confirm Health in Mind has complied with the Government’s guidance on managing the risk of coronavirus (COVID-19).

  • We have taken all reasonable steps to help people work from home.
  • Where staff are working from office spaces, we have cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures in line with guidance.
  • Where staff are working from office spaces, we have taken all reasonable steps to maintain a two metre distance in the workplace.
  • Where staff are working from office spaces and cannot be two metres apart, we have done everything practical to manage transmission risk.

We have worked together to compile comprehensive risk assessments that identify risks and outlines the actions we have put in place to manage those risks.

We are continuing to provide support for people using our services in a blended way- with telephone, video link and in person support available. Wherever possible, our staff are being encouraged to work from home and we have put the following steps in place to support this:

  • All staff complete a home working risk assessment
  • We have provided equipment to support staff to work from home.
  • We have vide calls instead of in person meetings were possible.

Following buildings risk assessments, where staff are working from our offices:

  • We have social distancing measures in place and avoid sharing items such as pens.
  • We are limiting the number of staff working in each office and have limited the number of staff and visitors in communual areas.
  • We have handwashing facilities and alcohol hand sanitisers across all of our work locations.
  • We have antibacterial wipes and/or spray for use on desk areas and meeting rooms.
  • We have increased our cleaning schedule, cleaning and disinfecting touch points, such as handrails, toilets, taps and communal areas.
  • We regularly communicate to all staff the requirement and importance of maintaining high personal hygiene and frequently washing hands, consistent with Government guidance.
  • Where people cannot be a minimum of two metres apart we have taken reasonable steps to manage the risk of transmission of the virus. For example, personal protective equipment (PPE) is available where required.
