Part time:  21.75 hours per week

Salary: £19,619 (FTE) fixed

Contract: 12 months, extendable up to March 2021

As part of our Central Services Team, you will play a key role in facilitating the smooth running of Health in Mind’s finance and administrative function.

As finance assistant your duties will include: processing accounts payable invoices, completing payment runs for suppliers and the discretionary funds, as well as managing staff expenses and business credit cards. You will also be responsible for preparing monthly bank reconciliations and monitoring the cash position.  You will work closely with service administrators and wider staff, acting as the primary finance contact for some services.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced finance assistant with knowledge of accounts payable processing, as well as an understanding of financial control accounts, nominal ledger postings, journals, prepayments and accruals.  Experience with Sage Line50 or other Sage accounting packages would be advantageous. The successful candidate will also possess strong organisational and excellent communication skills.
