Future Pathways

Communications Support Worker, Communications Hub, based in Edinburgh

Hours:  29 hours per week (0.8 FTE)
Salary: £23,007-£25,533 pro-rata (Pts27-30)
Contract: 3 years

Resilient, assertive and boundaried, you are a good listener who responds empathically to distress. You will be the first point of contact for people seeking to register with Future Pathways, Scotland’s Survivor Support Fund. This entails guiding people through the registration process, answering questions about the service and offering telephone support. You will also receive calls from delivery partners and other people. With a knack for problem solving and working with colleagues, you will ensure queries are appropriately responded to by the relevant person. Qualified to a relevant SVQ level 3 or higher, you must have prior experience of providing emotional support such as helpline or crisis service. Flexibility in work hours is required. Hours will be worked flexibly Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm.
