Target Audience
Health and Social Care staff and students.
Aim
To ensure that participants are familiar with the latest theory and practice that underpins values-based approaches to recovery.
By the end of the training participants will have had the opportunity to reflect on each of the Ten Essential Shared Capabilities:
- Working in partnership
- Respecting diversity
- Practicing ethically
- Challenging inequality
- Promoting recovery
- Identifying peoples needs and strengths
- Providing user centred care
- Making a difference
- Promoting safety and positive risk taking
- Personal; development and learning
By the end of the training, participants will have a degree of familiarity with the following modules published by the Scottish Recovery Network:
- Using self to develop recovery focused relationships
- Enabling self direction
- Providing person-centred support
- Sharing responsibility for risk and risk taking
- Connecting with communities
