Equality and Diversity Training

This one day course is available on the following date:

Target Audience

All Health and Social Care staff and students.

To enable participants to understand the origins, context and manifestation of discrimination within society.

To understand the impact and implications of our own personal attitudes, values, beliefs, prejudices and stereotypes.
To analyse the origins, context and manifestation of discrimination in society.
To examine the importance and effects of the use of language within our diverse society.
To understand an overview of the current and future Equality and Diversity legislation.
To have an awareness of cultural sensitivity and celebration diversity within society.
To challenge discriminatory attitudes and behaviour effectively
