In the last decade Health in Mind has devised and delivered an exciting and varied menu of training to many organisations including NHS Health Scotland, The Scottish Recovery Network, Edinburgh City Council, Lothian and Borders Police and Al Anin Hospital in the United Arab Emirates. We are committed to providing quality, experiential, values based programmes, and where appropriate ensure that at least one of the trainers has lived experience of mental health challenges.

Health in Mind Training Calendar 2011-2012

All training is open to individuals, teams or organisations. We can also tailor the content to reflect your working environment where appropriate.

Training events are normally held at our head office at 40 Shandwick Place, Edinburgh but we are also happy to deliver at a location of your choice.

Course Fees

All training courses have a flat rate of £50 per person per day. ILA (Individual Learning Account) funding is available for almost all of our courses - please see ILA Scotland website for details. ILA will provide successful candidates with £200 towards the cost of training courses.

The Information Afternoons run by our Information Resource Centre are free of charge.

We can design and tailor course content to suit the needs of your organisation. In the past year we have delivered the following specialised training:
