EDSPACE.org.uk, the successful mental health and wellbeing information website has been relaunched on a new IT platform making it responsive to smart devices.

SEVEN years ago, Jacqui Donachie’s life came to a shuddering halt. Her 33 year-old son, Iain, passed away after struggling with schizophrenia since his mid-teens.

AS part of Befriending Week 2015 (1 to 7 November), Health in Mind’s volunteer fundraisers are hosting a ‘Speed Friending’ event on Wednesday 4 November at Starbucks on Shandwick Place, Edinburgh, from 5.30 until 7.30pm (arrivals from 5pm).

FOLLOWING the recently-published Scottish Government report on Age and Isolation, Scottish charity, Health in Mind, is urging people to get involved in Befriending Week which runs from 1 to 7 November.

THE recent Self Management Awards shone a spotlight on some of the excellent collaborative work happening in Scotland right now.

TO be selected as a Sainsbury’s Local Charity of the Year once is great, but when Scottish charity, Health in Mind, were told they had been selected for a second year by the company’s Shandwick Place store, their staff and volunteers were ecstatic.

SCOTTISH mental health charity, Health in Mind, have today published the results of its annual Service Users’ Survey, which shows that 94 per cent of people using the organisation’s services would recommend them to a friend.

September 2015:Football tournament ‘kicks off’ World Suicide Prevention Week 2015

SPORT and exercise can make a positive difference to people’s mental wellbeing and World Suicide Prevention Week, which runs from 7 to 12 September, will be quite literally kicked off this Saturday (6 September) with the exciting five-a-side football tournament, The Choose Life Challenge Cup. 

SCOTTISH charity, Health in Mind, is to benefit financially from two Edinburgh Festival Fringe productions which are both based on true-life experiences.
