November 2013 - Mary's gelato 'scoops' funds for Scottish charity
EDINBURGH-based Mary’s Milk Bar is tucked away in the Grassmarket and owner, Mary Hillard, recently teamed up with Scottish charity, Health in Mind, to host four special evenings for people to raise funds, whilst learning about and enjoying the art of gelato.

August 2013 - Trauma Counselling Line Scotland
AN unique Scotland-wide counselling service is preparing its counsellors for an upsurge in calls about child sexual abuse. Trauma Counselling Line Scotland (TCLS) is run by Scottish charity Health in Mind and team leader, Eileen Hone, knows from experience how media coverage can affect the victims of abuse who have tried to bury the memories of their own horrific experiences; sometimes for decades.
A PROJECT to try to tackle loneliness with volunteer “friends” is being expanded following research showing a link between isolation and early death.
